Closed Shop Window

Hi Guys,

This project ‘Closed Shop Window’ is inspired by a photograph that I saw on the web. I just created the look n feel of old vintage shop in my own creative way. Project done in Blender 2.75 and rendered with Cycles Rendering engine. Modelling, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering and post done by Abhinendra Chauhan.
“Old things are better than new things, because they’ve got stories in them”

Thanks!!

Grow the idea

I created this 3D project inspired by a photograph. So I decided to create this scene in a creative way to show Ideas are no one’s monopoly. You can grow your idea from anywhere.
This project is done in Blender 2.74 and rendered with Cycles rendering engine.

Photorealism With Cycles

I tried to create photorealism with Blender 2.74. Work includes modelling, texturing, lighting and image rendered with cycles rendering engine. My concept is to create kind of ancient look n feel with old map, key, coins, compass and Binocular…
I hope u like the results…

Houdini Engine plug-ins for public preview…..

TORONTO: November 19, 2013 – Side Effects Software, an industry leader in 3D animation and visual effects software, is proud to announce the immediate release of experimental Houdini Engine plug-ins for public preview. These plug-ins allow for deep integration of Houdini technology into Autodesk Maya and the Unity editor and will be available freely to CG artists during the experimental testing period.

The Houdini Engine now includes access to all of the new Houdini 13 features such as finite elements, enhanced Bullet, new particle tools and a feature-rich Find Shortest Path tool. The plug-ins were written with the recently updated Houdini Engine API 1.5 which adds texture baking, volume support, and more. Volume support is especially notable because it lets artists work with assets built using Pyro and Cloud FX tools in the Houdini Engine.

“Maya and Unity artists from around the world will now have a chance to test and explore the Houdini Engine,” says Luke Moore, Director of Special Projects, Side Effects Software. “In exchange, we are looking for rigorous testing and feedback to help us explore turning this tech preview into a production-ready commercial product.”

To access the Houdini Engine, artists can download the latest production build of Houdini or the free Houdini Apprentice Learning Edition and install the experimental plug-ins along with the Houdini interactive software. Houdini Digital Assets created in either Houdini or Apprentice can then be loaded into Maya and Unity using the Houdini Engine plug-ins. A growing library of Digital Assets for use in both Maya and Unity will be available at the Orbolt Smart 3D Asset Store

Download instructions and access to learning videos can be found at SideFX Labs using the links shown below. The Plug-in for Maya is available on Linux and Windows. The Plug-in for Unity is available on Windows. Mac OSX versions will be available soon.
